Here you will see how a fresh coat of paint can freshen up a bedroom and add a new lease of life to built-in furniture. We recently finished this painting and decorating project in West London and wanted to share the before and after shots.

Firstly, we prepared all the surfaces to allow for a beautifully smooth finish throughout. Here's a list of items in the bedroom we redecorated:

As you can see in the before photos below, ceilings can become cracked, walls become dirty, dust gathers near items such as paintings and skirting boards become scuffed and dull.
