Getting the best from your decorator (from a decorator's point of view)

  1. Make sure you get everything in writing and read every bit of the estimate and any other agreement, such as colours, make of paint, how long job will take and schedule of payments.
  2. Decide if you or the decorator will be clearing the room in readiness for work (also preferably in writing).
  3. Go over the job in detail with the Supervisor or decorator at the very beginning making sure there are no misunderstandings, including the standard of work to be reached.
  4. Supplied with tea/coffee and biscuits – a happy decorator will do a better job.

That should do it.
